Just for fun. Add up the total retail value of every item that you are wearing at this very moment Including jewelry. Ladies if you're carrying a purse include that in the price

    Around $3016.

$3000 for my rings, and $16 for my 'outfit' - $7 pj pants (Target - on clearance), $4 t-shirt (Old Navy) and $5 undies (Target - on clearance).

For my clothes, seriously about 23$. I'm in a sweat shirt and sweat pants and usually don't spend much on clothes. I don't care much about brand names, so don't spend a lot on clothes.
But.... I work for a jewler. So I am wearing several pieces that I don't take off much. Value of jewelry I'm wearing is 15,000$ .(of course my engagement ring is most of that money) No joke.
Yes I wear Walmart sweat pants but enjoy nice jewelry

Probably around $200. $50 for Walmart/Target/Old Navy clearance rack attire (including undies), and $150 Birkenstock clogs.

I take my foot health very seriously. My fashion statement? Not so much ;)

ETA: Oh, I see the ladies are including wedding bands: add $7 to my total. True story--my wedding band is a thin sterling silver ring from Kmart. I really don't like jewelry, or anyone spending money on it for me, so this is what I am comfortable wearing.

    • Banana Republic sweater...paid $40+/- two years ago
    • Gap jeans...paid $40+/- five years ago (they used to be black and now are grey)
    • Betsey Johnson bra...$48 (recent purchase @ Nordstrom)
    • Target undies...$4 (also newish...5/$20)
    • Costco socks...maybe $2? (probably 7-10 years old)
    • Merrell mocs...guessing I paid around $60...I've had these shoes since I lived in NYC (circa 2000)...they were the easiest things to slip on to take the boys to school
    • Diamond stud earrings...approx. $2000 (they were a gift)

Took off my rings to do dishes. Just dropped my watch off to have the battery replaced.

So somewhere in the neighborhood of $2200

Hmm. I have never thought about this before. If you count my parka maybe $675. I didn't think it would be that much but things add up quickly.
