Fat lose vs Muscle Gain

As title suggests, I am interested to know that if I am losing fat using calorie deficit method successfully, and side by side gaining muscles by doing excercise, what would be scale's response? Will it show my weight is getting down? Or will it show that my weight is uncreasing? Or will it remain same?
If I summarize my question, perhaps I am trying to know how much muscle I will gain per week?

You can't really gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. You're giving your body less than it needs (calorie deficit) to maintain your current mass, so it's not going to use the energy you put in to create new mass. (muscle)

From what I read about a pound of muscle gain when hitting the gym per month is about it. Assuming that is a fact then building a 1/4 pound of muscle a month is not going to change the scales much on the up side.

If you are brand new to lifting, you might gain a small amount on a deficit. Noticeable? I would guess that would depend on the person.

Other than that, you aren't going to gain in a deficit. Lifting heavy helps to strengthen and retain the muscles you do already have though.

If you are in a calorie deficit your weight will go down. The amount of that weight that is from fat loss vs muscle gain will effect your body fat percentage and measurements.
