Lean meats such as chicken and ground turkey are great for foods. I also eat protein bars that help with the protein numbers. As for drink a protein shake will help out.

Chicken, steak, protein bars, unsalted nuts, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, protein powder......
  • Why do they put so much sodium in cottage cheese?!? Non/lowfat is perfect for a high protein meal but apparently is the law that they have to pour salt all over it?

Anyways ... Don't like a seriously unhealthy amount of sodium? Then don't even look at cottage cheese!

Depends, what would you consider a low amount of sodium?

Most fresh, unprocessed poultry and meat is pretty low sodium. Most fish is but shellfish varies and is often pretty high sodium. Dairy often has a sodium punch, but there are some soy products that are much lower.

Dry Legumes, soak them in water, try adzuki beans.
