The good news is you can lose weight without exercising - you have to be diligent to log your foods and watch your calorie intake. You can do it! You can, you can! :)

Welcome. Keeping a good mind set is key. If you really can't exercise, try some walking, each time will get easier. Log your food and be honest about what you are eating, if you really stay in your calorie limits you can lose weight.

I will keep it short! I had a thyroidectomy 3 years ago and thanks to a good endocrinologist I have kept my hormone level (0.01) same for those 3 years. I am sorry that you fell into the 2 % bracket that develop hypocalcemia which is misunderstood by most people. I suffer from chronic fatigue which I developed while living in central america. The good news is I found that the one exercise that I can do is walking. I faithfully walk 2 miles a day and this has seemed to help my fatigue. I have been using MFP now for over 100 days to monitor my calorie intake and have lost over 35 lbs.
