    Just change your activity level.

Keep a note book in your pocket, make a note of stuff then log it all in when you get home. x
  • I haved changed my activity level but 1999 calories a day seems like way too much??

I work in surgery and am on my feet all day like you will be. But dont run around a lot . I kept my activity level at mildly active. Even though I work all day, basically I stand in one spot for hours at a time, which will be like you will be doing.
  • I worked as a stocker at Wal-mart. For a cashier, I think you should probably be one level above Sedentary. I now work at a desk job which puts me at Sedentary and am going from the top level to that is quite difficult. While doing an extremely physical job my trainer set me at 2K calories per day and I lost weight, but I was lifting and working hard all day long. Now I can only have 1200 calories per day so I try to get as much cardio and workouts in as I can so I can have the extra calories.

You can customize your calories that's what I do but never count work as exercise. Depending on how much you do then change to activity level and customize your calories. If not losing, try lowering calories each week. But never below 1200!

In general, work exercise should be part of your activity level and not really logged separately.
