Hey!
I would love to do a body cleanse. Can anyone recommend any?
I am open to all suggestions. I am already eating only veggies, fruits and proteins, and all i drink is water and after work outs i have a protein drink.
Would love to boost my body up and remove anything that is still lingering in my body that shouldn't.
Or if you could recommend a website or something to check out pls feel free to let me know!
I hope you all are having a fantastic day! And if you need a MFP friend feel free to add me as well i constantly update and i am good at motivating!
Thanks much!

it's been stated on here several times that "cleanses" are basically a scam. there is no such thing.0

Thank you very much for this!! I'm so glad you posted it... now I am changing my mind =]0 -
Oxy-Powder has what I believe is a 7 day cleanse. It worked pretty well for me to jump start my diet. No cramping or stomach issues.-4

a cleanse to me is just another fancy word for laxative. you arent going to lose fat with it,just water, waste and thats about it,you might lose inches since you will no longer be full of crap lol but its not going to stay like that.fat and inches are only burned off with exercise and eating properly(for most).0

If you want to do a cleanse, I'd recommend a one day water fast.0

because of the first posting i won't be doing a cleanse. I am doing the correct things i can do in order to lose weight, build muscle, and keep myself over all healthy!
Thank you all very much for your suggestions! Have a fantastic day!0 -

But for more persuasive info (for those who might still think "detoxing" or "cleansing" are possible or good)...

Unfortunately, most people will be commenting without reading your follow-up comments, so you're going to get a lot of soap & water/liver & kidney jokes. I'm glad that the link was helpful for you and that you'll be concentrating on being healthy.

This has to be a record? Someone asked a question about a controversial topic, was given a link, (appears to have) read the information, made an informed decision and then changed their mind on the controversial topic.
I mean, it only took a total of 7 minutes for the OP to change their mind. No, "But, my Mom said you can loose 30 pounds of waste!" quotes, or "I was reading a blog and...." or even a "I saw on Oprah/Dr. Oz that you can..." wimper from the OP.
Just read the information. Made decision and change directions.
