I need your protein recipes!

I'm currently lifting a lot in order to put on more muscle while also shedding fat, so my protein goal per day is around 135g. But I keep coming short by 40-50g. I've utilized my protein powder a lot, and I eat nuts, leafy greens, eggs, meats, peanut butter, cottage cheese, etc. I really want to meet that 135g without dipping into non-food territory if I don't have to (i.e. protein bars). So please share with me any super-protein recipes (or quick snacks) you've found! Thanks. =]

I made these Greek yogurt waffles a few hours ago, and my family has been eating through them:
- 300g Greek yogurt. I like to mix a 150g tub of plain nonfat with a small tub of flavored nonfat Greek yogurt.
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1.5 Tbsp water
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp (or more) of vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
The entire recipe made 3 waffles for 444 calories and 48g of protein. You could also thin out the batter and make pancakes with it.0 -
I regularly get over 150g protein, though I use a lot of bars and powders, since I dont cook at all. But for example today I microwaved a frozen chicken breast fillet and added a piece of cheese (i only had fat free) and some bbq sauce and shredded lettuce (to make me think it was a salad haha). That came in at 32g protein, 10 carbs and 3 fat for 205 calories. I ate that twice today.
I also buy lots of greek yogurt - I get the Dannon or Yoplait flavored kinds - usually 12g protein and 9-15 carbs for 100 calories or less. I add flavorless protein "crunchies" to them - like adding granola but they dont have any specific taste. I add half a serving, which adds another 12g protein and nothing else. The brand is Body360 whey protein crunchies. They come in "natural" and "cocoa". I also buy plain or vanilla greek yogurt and add different flavored protein powders to it too.
Look up recipes with protein powder - proteinpow.com for example. I use 1 scoop powder and add 3oz premier protein ready to drink shakes, stir and cook like a pancake. I put fruit preserves and whipped cream on top.
I use the ready to drink premier protein vanilla shakes (costco) in place of milk for everything - i.e. in a bowl of cereal, to make oatmeal, or in a recipe, etc. They have 30g per 11oz, and I usually use about 1/3 to 1/2 of that per cereal bowl or oatmeal. For oatmeal, I put 40g quick cook oats mixed with 4oz premier protein drink plus cinnamon and stir, then let sit overnight in the fridge. Heat it up in the morning with whatever else you want (I usually add more "milk").
Oscar Meyer cooked ham slices have about 5g each, and i put two or three with cheese and a rice cake or something with sauce and get about 15g protein per "sandwich".
Good luck
