Ok, so there are a few Insanity threads in the forums, but everyone seems to be a few weeks in. So I figured I'd start a new thread for anyone who started real recently, or is looking to start now.
So my starting stats as of Monday 3/29/11 are:
Weight: 249.9 lbs
Neck: 17.5"
Chest: 48"
Rt. Thigh: 25.5"xnx
Waist: 40" (Although I wear a 36 pant size)
Fitness Test Results Day 1 (Monday 3/28/11)
Switch Kicks: 57
Power Jacks: 39
Power knees: 60
Power Jumps: 21
Globe Jumps: 7
Suicide Jumps: 12
Push-Up Jacks: 16
Low Plank Oblique: 30
Today is Day 2- so I did the Plyometric Cardio Circuit....DAMN!!!!! I definitley didn't even come close to finishing any of the exercises. But I kept up and kept pushing myself. My legs feel like complete jello. But according to my HRM (bought today) I burned 694 caloreis! Of course that puts me going into dinner 1100 calories short for the day. I think I need to rethink my diet. Gonna have to add calories somewhere. Anyway, I'm glad I started Insanity. It scares the hell out of me, but when Iook back at myself on January 2nd (that's when I started my weight loss journey) I would have died in the first 5 minutes. The fact that I made it through the entire first video (with pauses) makes me happy for how far I have already come. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings (and also really scared :noway: )
Anyway, hope there are at least a few people out there that are interested in jumping in. I could definitley use the motivation.

Day 3 in the books- Cardio Power & Resistance. Wow!!! I feel like crap- and by that, I mean that I am struggling through all the exercises. This is one tough, and rewarding workout. I curse myself through it (WHY DID I MAKE MYSELF DO THIS???!!!!!), but I finish, and am very happy that I push myself through. I guess it helps to look up and see some of the guys on the video standing and resting, or walking off to get water during the workouts (and there already in crazy good shape!!!). So I guess the fact that I am even doing it is reward enough. I wouldn;t have been able to do any of this 3 months ago.0

Im on day 4....cardio recovery, I'll see how much recovery I get, lol. Yesterday was a little tough as I was really sore from the day before. I need to get better shoes and work on my breathing. I'm pushing though and Im determined to push play everyday!!!0
