AIRobics

I am an AIRobics instructor which is rebounding on larger sized trampolines. I'm a little frustrated with this app/site because "rebounding" or "trampoline" is not an option for calories burned aka exercise. This is highly ridiculous considering rebounding is supposed to burn a significant amount of calories in one hour... up to 1,000 calories. What a joke that this is not an option and in my experience that absolute best low impact strength, endurance, and cardio training a person can do. I have marines that take my class and they are whooped at the end of the class so much so its become addicting to them to take it just so they can push themselves more. Why is this not considered on option on the exercise portion of the website????

Just log it as something similar. Like rope jumping fast. Not that big of deal.

I dont know anyone who can actually fast rope jump for an hour straight though so that might not be the one to chose. Its just one of the ones that has a similar movement with the calorie burn you claim.

Probably better to log it as the name implies Aerobics.

Well then you need to add it.. most everything in the database is user added.. Wear an HRM and manually add it.. then save it so that anyone else who ever wants to log it will be able to..

Also there is a separate forum for user complaints where MFP staff will actually read it.
