How often do you weigh yourself?

Daily. I keep track on an app which shows my progress, I like the visual.0

I have been sneaking a "peek" daily, but to be honest, the fluctuations are a little disheartening. I decided this morning, no more daily peeks, I will only look once a week. Welcome!0

Every morning, but sometimes the scale doesn't show your progress. I've noticed big change in my stomach area and lost just 1 kg. We have to keep it up (*)0

While at uni, every 2-3 weeks as I don't have a scales. At home, every day. I much prefer weighing every day, keeps me on track a lot better though I'm pretty okay with every few weeks, too. I just get really curious.0

They speak rubbish. There is no right and wrong, do what suits you, but understand the pros and cons of each method.
I weigh daily at least. I record in other ways as well, especially gym performance, visual etc. Its just data, but useful.
I understand about fluctuations and trends.
I like seeing new numbers. A weight loss encourages me(fluctuations notwithstanding) im on the right track and a gain encourages me to work harder.
The scale motivates me, its a game. Think it would be more boring if I didnt exercise as much. It also prevents any anxiety about not knowing what weight I might be and lets me tackle any weight gains before they get out of hand.0 -
I too weigh myself every morning, but I only record my weight on Wednesdays.0

I weigh daily and then calculate the exponentially smoothed moving average of my weight, as John Walker explains in The Hacker's Diet. See the chapters on "The Rubber Bag," "Signal and Noise," and "Perfect Weight Forever." Actually, these days I use a WiFi scale and TrendWeight.com to do the calculating for me.
The advantage of using an exponentially smoothed moving average is that it minimizes daily fluctuations. The average only goes up when most of your daily weights are above it, so it provides an early warning if you're actually gaining weight. If most of your daily weights are below the trend line, then you're losing weight.0 -
Daily, really just to drive myself a bit crazy But I don't think too much of it, it's more to keep myself in check and see the fluctuations based on what I ate or what exercise I did for the day. Weekly is the one that matters to me.0

I only weigh my self weekly, as I don't think I would see much of a change doing it daily.0

Ok I am getting it now. This was my first week. I weighed mid week and hurray thought I lost 2.2. But at weeks end. It seems the scale says only 1.2. So I celebrated too soon. I agree with the people, who say only record once a week to avoid fluctuations .:)0

Daily, in the mornings, but I only log here once a week, on Saturdays. I log all of my weights on Libra though, for the data.0

I weigh myself every Sunday morning after I use the bathroom and before I eat or drink anything. I use the same scale in the same position.
I take measurements of waist, hip, neck, thigh and calf once a month on the same date. I take a photo on that day as well.
I can't weigh every day without it becomming negative for me. Once a week is enough information for me.0 -
Once a week on a Thursday at the gym which also records body fat and bmi , I don't own scales at home as know I would be on them every time I went in the bathroom. Only been on here 22 days but took my measurements at the beginning and will do them once a month along with a photo which I print off and keep in my diary.0

I weight myself every day, right after I wake up and pee, and in the nude. I have a rolling running log that averages my daily weight with a trend weight so I don't have to worry about the fluctuation.0

I mostly weigh once a week. but 38kgs (85lbs) weight loss later I am more into if it doesn't look right - ie I feel that there should be some weight loss I will weigh myself a day or two later and it often then reflects the loss. Dehydration and constipation and poor food choices can influence the numbers. Trendy down is my mantra!0

I need to weigh daily. I know there are fluctuations but it keeps me from shoving things into my mouth as I have to face the scale in the morning. Works for me.0
