What else can I do to curb late night snacking?

I feel like I've been doing everything.. been taking supplements that are supposed to kill cravings, I drink lots of water, eat protein at almost every meal, even chew gum when I start to feel a craving. Nothing seems to be working.. any suggestions?

Making your food diary public would help answering your question.

What are your weight loss goal set at? Are you losing close to the rate you set it at?

This is a very loaded question. There are many reasons why you snack, because the food is there, eliminate that. Why do you not have a food plan (that you can stick with). Is your caloric deficit too high. Are you actually really starving? Are you addicted to carbs (in all forms). Are you eating throughout the day to maintain a level amount of sugar in your system.

It helps me to eat dinner late. Then I do not have to look around for snacks.
Get into a routine for bed. Focus on that routine and keep food out of the routine.
By doing that (routine) you can develop good habits.

I eat pickles... Pickles basically have no calories. Or sometimes I eat sugar free jello which also has little to no cals.

This is a tough one for me too. I don't have the answer, but a legit strategy is to just go to bed. I find that when I'm tired, I get hungry. Probably something to do with the body looking for sources of energy, I would imagine. I try to listen to my body and get to bed if I feel like that is happening. Also, I'm not really one to snack in bed, so if I'm not that tired and I've got a while til bedtime, I might just go hang out in bed and read or watch Netflix. The change of surroundings and engaging my mind in a different way help stop me wanting to eat.

Save some calories for late night snacking and portion out something to nibble on after dinner. I save calories for a post dinner treat every night.

Are you sure you're eating enough throughout the day? If I don't eat enough I feel like I'm starving when I get home and eat everything in the house. Also, try keeping busy. I tend to think about food when I'm bored. If I stay busy I'm less likely to think about eating. Or just go to sleep earlier. Who doesn't love more sleep?

Save calories for a late night snack & eat what you like in moderation.

Pre-log your day to include that snack at night.

Measure out your snacks in portion control bags. In addition to the calories, write the number of minutes it will take you to work those calories off. Ex. For a 100 calorie snack I need to walk 20 minutes at a slow pace. If I really want the snack, I head to the treadmill for the workout before I allow myself the snack. When I see that staring me in the face, I think twice about the snack.
