Can anyone suggest a HRM that shows calories burned for beginners that does not have a chest strap?
My hubby had a HRM that has a chest strap and I hate it! I find it very annoying and distracting when working out.
I'd suck it up and just use his but his is old school and doesnt show the calories burned ..
thanks!

I'm not sure about the ones without the chest strap. From everything i've read they are the best and most accurate. I got a Polor F7 this weekend and i'm still trying to figure it out. lol0

HRM's without chest straps are very inaccurate to say the least.0

I posted a topic about chest straps earlier today. and from what I understood is that the chest strap ones are more accurate. ALTHOUGH, if it is that uncomfortable to you --- I window shopped for some the other day and found some HRM with calories burned without chest straps for around $70-100 at MC SPORTS. not sure where you are from, but maybe try looking there.
*my personal suggestion even though I do not own a HRM (yet!!), is be careful with how accurate it is.0 -
I see people wearing armband ones, are these not HRM's?0
