instant oatmeal w/ half a cup of blue berries + skim milk for breakfast
peanut butter and banana sandwich (whole weat bread) + orange juice + yogurt w/ half a cup of blue berries for lunch
cup of walnuts some time during the day idk
and for dinner i'll just go out and eat some meat and vegetables with my meal plan
trying to make a cheap healthy meal plan for college so i'm wondering if this will give me a good amount of vitamins and iron and all that stuff

Log all that food into your diary on MFP and it will tell you the nutrients and vitamins in that daily menu. You will need to weigh the quantities to get the most accurate info.0

A whole cup of walnuts? That's a lot of calories?0

For me? No. Virtually no fat or protein at breakfast, and all meals are way too low-cal. Still not enough protein at lunch and possibly more fat than I need. And still likely too low cal unless I was eating it not long before my workout (high fat lunches are fine on my rest days).
Eat food. eat variety. Track macros and calories. You'll likely get plenty of micros without monitoring or being restrictive with your meal plan.0 -

LOL I missed that. This makes up for the rest of the meals being way too low cal. He is a guy though so he probably will benefit from eating something so calorie dense in such a high quantity to ensure he isn't eating ridiculously low for his needs.0 -
Depending on your calorie goal, you can skip the orange juice. It has calories that you could save for dinner.
Have you counted the calories in the walnuts? -- It's like 500 calories give or take.
You are fine on the vitamins and iron and all that stuff. Good luck.0 -
uhh I never really pay attention to calories because no matter how much I eat or don't eat my body stays roughly same size and weight. my metabolism is high as hell. plus I haven't been very active this year since I'm focusing on studying so with that I think it's best I stick with low calories like my meal plan apparently has.
and about the walnut thing I googled it and saw that walnuts have a lot of omega-3s so I figured eating a cup would be good for me lol
so yea I really only care about the brain power my food gives, I don't mind the calories if I get fat I'll just work out over the summer0
