Your choices are prescription drugs, placebo snake oil concoctions, or drugs that cause oily stools when least expected. Pick one. Or none!

RX is Adipex. It works but is unpleasant. Non RX is crap and doesn't work.

Every time I see trog post, I have to see if I get a glimpse of the magnificent beard.

OP, no need for diet pills. With 20 pounds to lose, just eat sensibly and track your calories.

Did you post the same thread twice?

This is what I said in your other thread- Save your money. All you need is a reasonable calorie deficit.

calorie deficit + being active is the only way.

I have been a sucker for these diet pills and shakes

    Herbalife: no weight loss
    Garnicia: made me sick
    African mango: made me constipated
Green coffee bean: made my thoughts very fuzzy
Slimfast: no weight loss, constantly hungry

Eating at a deficit and working out 20min 5 days a week: lost 8lbs in a month and I feel fantastic and never hungry

It's The Magic Feather: if you try, you'll be surprised to find out you can fly just fine without it. The pills never really held the magic in the first place, right? Placebo ...

I just recently found a halfway used bottle of Slim Quick (supposed to supress appetite and give you energy, and all that). For the first time ever I looked at it and knew that I will never need it. Eating at a calorie deficit is all I need. If I'm really hungry, and eat so much that I go over my goal, I either work it off (go for a walk, jog or a million other ways to do cardio) or just suck it up to being over my goal for 1 day.

By the way, as many times as I took them, they never really worked. Sure, for a couple of days I was less hungry, or had more energy (the weird, jittery kind) but it never worked long term enough to lose even 2 lbs.

You only have 20 lbs. to lose and you want to risk permanent damage to your body with diet pills? Um, no. Just eat at a calorie deficit and work out. Losing 20 lbs. is not a reason to permanently damage your health... You can lose weight naturally and still be healthy!

Don't do it! They won't help you develop the habits you need to keep the weight off, even if you do lose it.
