Any specific reason it must be low calorie? I eat up to 500-600 cals for breakfast. No lower than 400 or so works for me. I eat anything, ideally lower carb because I love fatty, protein-heavy breakfast. My diary is open, meal 1 is usually breakfast.0

I found that when I stopped thinking of "Breakfast Food" for breakfast, it got a LOT easier. The concept of Breakfast Food was dreamed up to make money for the companies that sell it.
This morning I'm having a tin of Spanish style tuna mixed with 75g of cottage cheese on 4 x 9-grain Vita Weats. 246 cals, 23g protein, 25g carbs, 6g fat.0 -
Thx.... I'm new to this community so when I get a chance I will check out yr diary...... I try to limit my calories to 1400 a day and just watch my fat intake0

I don't like to use a lot of calories for breakfast. When I do eat it, it's usually toast (low cal/high protein) with light cream cheese and lox, cereal w. milk, a scrambled egg on toast, or oatmeal. Do you have a favorite breakfast food? That might be a good place to start.0

There's another thread going on what everyone had for breakfast today. You can read that for ideas.
I'm on limited calories too, being older and short. I like cottage cheese with finely chopped veggies and lots of pepper or alternatively, with some lemon peel, cinnamon and sliced almonds. Sometimes I also eat scrambled eggs with a lot of frozen spinach, and other days I just eat a protein bar. Most of my breakfasts are about 200-215 calories, and I drink another 100 calories (I love them and plan for them and won't give them up) in three huge cups of tea with half and half.0 -
Two poached eggs on one slice of grain toast. Easy and delish0

Lately I've been having a Greek yogurt and granola.0

Protein Pancakes! They are incredibly filling and satisfying. Or even a protein mug cake, so quick and feels like an actual dessert but will fill you up for a very long time. I never thought I'd jump on the protein powder bandwagon, but I can't believe I haven't tried it earlier0
