Low bar squatting and sumo pulling

Just curious if any one else has found these to be complimentary to each other, I recently switched from conventional deadlift to a sumo deadlift and found it to be way more powerful

Not sure what your question is. Sumo takes a lot of the back out of the lift, so you're turning it into more of a purely leg exercise at that point (which tends to make it overlap with squats more instead of adding additional stuff).0

Sumo doesn't work for me. I also noticed at my comp on saturday that anyone pulling over 200kg was doing it conventional.
For me, I can sumo at 360#, or conventional to my pr, which is currently 505#. I've been told I should get good at Sumo to complement my conventional, but I don't see the benefit honestly.0 -

The last comp I went to, no one pulling more than 185 pulled sumo
