I love the app and its extensive database! It even contains nutritional info for traditional meals and brands of beers found only in Balkans where I am coming from.
However, if I had to follow Fitnesspal's suggestions about calorie intake to lose weight, I would get fat! I am 6'1 and 167 pounds heavy, and I never eat more than 1500 calories a day. Fitness Pal suggested over 1700 for healthy weight loss which I am trying to achieve.

Uh... you're an inch shorter than me, and a few lbs heavier - my BMR has gone up, but is still about 1810. Unless you literally just sit around all day, you could easily lose weight on 1700, if not slightly more. Don't starve yourself, it's not fun0

I don't! I exercise 3-4 times a week! And I never starve myself, that's just a normal day for me.. I should just probably maintain weight, and stop trying to achieve perfection. :P0

I'm envious of your weight for 6'1"!0

It's a blessing and a curse! I have hard time finding shoes and men, but the height comes in handy on concerts or when reaching top shelves:)0
