                    Hi everyone,
My 1st day on this and looking for some advice, I have done my calorie count for the day and I am under by 400 calories what is recommended for me. Should I eat/drink something more or is it ok to be under? Dont know what to do for the best. Any advice gratefully appreciated thanks.

Its best to try and stay at your minimum. But I've been under a few times.......I just wouldn't make a habit of it. Try planning in advance. Good luck!0

Completly agree!!I do find it difficult to get around my minimum on exercise days, find it hard to force myself to eat for teh sake of it!!But if you change things like instead of skimmed milk go to semi-skimmed ect ya can get near ya minimum!!But sometimes it is hard!!Also tho you may find one day or 2 ya over ya cals(esp on non exercise days) so in retrospect it evens itself up over the week!!Its best to try and stay at your minimum. It is recommended to meet the target set for you. If you are too far under too often you will go into starvation mode. Maybe by planning your meals in advance you can work out how many calories you have left over and allocate them to your snacks.0

I started mfp two weeks ago. I am also finding myself under the calorie count each day. I allow myself something at night, such as popcorn, lowfat ice cream, etc. I also figure that alot of the calorie counting is not exact and accurate. So as long as I am only 2-300 under. I'm not going to stress over it. I have lost 5 lbs. and am hopeful that this is going to work for me. Good luck and put me on ur friend list. I'd like to hear how it is going for you.0

I try to stay to the minimum so my body doesn't go into starvation mode. I also find it sometimes difficult to get it all in on busy days. I plan my meals and log them all in in the morning and change as necessary based on changing circumstances. That way there are no surprises at the end of the day. Best of luck0
