See your doctor ASAP! If you can't get there, call an ambulance.0

You need to call your doctor. If you are in that much pain, I suggest going to the ER if someone can drive you. If you don't have anyone to drive you, call 911.0

Go to the emergency room right away. They will do X-ray and MRI. This happened to me 5 years ago and it was herniated discs. This can happen even doing the most simple thing. Hopefully it's not that..but you have to rule that out or you can cause more damage. I went from having 3 to now 5. I'm sorry you are in pain0

Ice pack 20 minutes. Call your regular doctor and see what he or she says to do. Going to the ER will not only expose you to other diseases but you'll probably wait hours to see someone whose probably not an orthopedist. Aside from that, it sounds like you pulled a muscle (most likely) or tore the outside of the disc. Both are very painful and debilitating. Good news is most back pain (80%) resolves in a couple of weeks. Good luck.0

Been there, bought the T-shirts by the gross. 1st is a doctor, a real one, not a quack. Second, this might only take a couple days rest, or it could take an extended period. Do lots of research. Back injuries are the most common workplace injury in the US, but they can happen anywhere and any time even though you are doing nothing strenuous. If you can move and sit, have a friend drive you to the doctor. Once I couldn't sit in a car and had to crawl (literally crawl on hands and knees) to a friend's station wagon with the seats laid flat and be driven laying on my left side. If you are that bad, don't do as I did, call the ambulance. Do lots of research. Despite this being a common injury the quackery abounds. Pain meds, anti-inflammatories, physical therapy and lots of rest solves most problems. I have only met one person who had surgery for the problem who was satisfied with the outcome. So do your research.0
