    I use the kind of OJ that has vitamin D and extra calcium in it. That way it's not a splurge.

    You can make some really good smoothies with pumpkin (unsweetened, canned or fresh cooked). You can take a can of pumpkin, add your berries and chia seeds and enough water to make it the consistency you like. It doesn't require yogurt or milk. You can add some pumpkin pie spice if you like.

    Or just use water or cocconut water in your smoothie instead of orange juice. Or maybe try a cuccumber.

    Alright I had not thought about adding pumpkin or other squash to my smoothies before but now that I see it written down it makes perfect sense. Nice. Thank you for sharing that idea.
