I schedule my workouts like appointments. They are a must do part of my day. My day seems incomplete without that being finished. I started with 4 days per week workouts and now I am at 6-7 days per week (one day is active recovery day).

    Good luck!

I go to a whole host of options when that happens to me:

    - Like Roxiegirl2008, I also schedule my workouts out and I tell EVERYONE what time that is so they know I'm unavailable
    - I follow a lot of fitness accounts on different social media sites. If I'm feeling unmotivated I just need to go on Instagram or my Facebook page to get motivation to move!
    - My Challenge Group! I run monthly support and accountability groups and I check in EVERY DAY. That way, if I DON'T check in I have people asking messaging me asking what's going on. Also, I don't want to disappoint them so it's EXTRA accountability!
    - I remember my WHY. The big reason why I started doing this in the first place and I ask myself if sitting around is going to put me CLOSER to my goal or FURTHER away from my goal
    - I think about how I feel AFTER my workouts. I always feel like a million bucks and I've never regretted DOING a workout but almost always regret the workouts I DON'T do

That's just a few options, feel free to friend me for support or to ask questions! :)

Do you shower everyday? Do you eat everyday? Do you workout everyday?

You see where I am going with this.
  • Thanks for the suggestions. I like the workout schedule thing. I think I need to set aside specific times for workouts. I feel that if I have things actually planned out, I am more likely to do them.
