I started at 296 in May of 2014, lost most of the weight over the summer to around 225. The fall semester of college slowed things down and once the holiday season hit, It has been a non stop orgy of pita chips with hummus, frozen and takeout pizzas, Chinese food and chocolate.

I have this friend who keeps asking me if i know what "myfitnesspal" is and how awesome it is working for him.... when I am the one who introduced it to him. I feel like he is messing with my head.

I have wore out my welcome on myfitnesspal.com. What is the next best alternative calorie counter on the internet?

I appreciate your help and thank you.

  • I have gained a ton of weight back and need a fresh start, new site, everything. I am getting a 3 month gym membership for the winter.

Interesting question. The MFP acolytes make the Spanish Inquisition look like a bunch of amateurs when it comes to stamping out blasphemy. How will they react to apostasy? Whatever happens should be fun.

Fitday (http://www.fitday.com/) has a decent system. Certainly not claiming it's "next best".

After only 17 posts, you've already worn out your welcome? Say it ain't so. I heard Loseit or something like that was good, but I don't know. if it has as active (or as knowledgeable) of a community.

Not sure why you need a new website...But I previously liked caloriecount (about.com app) because it works way better for accurately tracking macros. But it doesn't work unless you're connected to the internet and with MFP I can create my own database that is mostly available while offline, so that's why I've stayed despite it being half shite for tracking macros and being terrible re: the public database.

Is there a way to delete all the junk food I gathered on my food tab then?
I collected a ton of junk food.

Using my "tough but fair" dad voice:

The "orgy" of junk food was not related to which website you're using. You need to decide if you want to do this or not.

You can delete them out of your frequent foods, but that's all I got. You can also just start a new account.

I've never used another calorie website, but I've heard good things about LoseIt.

Add new items and the oldest ones disappear

Add new and knock the old off, or go back in your diary and delete them all, or start a new account... or be an adult and realise that making them disappear from your diary won't make them disappear from your *kitten*.

I know in Aust the next best is Calorie King but I think the US version costs. Not sure about the rest of the world.
