High protein snacks

Hi,
I usually have a number of calories left over for snacks, but need to increase my protein to carb ratio. Any high protein snack ideas?

    You can try making protein pancakes. There are lots of recipies on the internet. You can increase/decrease carbs,fat yourself by adjusting the amounts of oats,peanut butter etc. Or if you are looking for something quick, try the MyProtein range of snacks. They have some really well balanced snacks which might suit you,

    Jerky
    Edamame
    Cheese strings / Babybel cheese
    Greek yoghurt
    Nuts/seeds
    Milk

    If you need snacks with low carbs and sugars to change your ratio, be very aware with those bars, dairy, shakes, etc. They may be high in protein, but many are also high in the stuff you don't want.

    an antipasto - cold cuts, salami, pepperoni, olives, pickles, roasted peppers
    hard boiled eggs
    celery with almond/peanut/cashew butter
    Siggi's yogurt - has more protein than sugars

    Peanut Butter (Or low cals PB2)
    Protein bars (quest or musclepharm are very yummy)
