I am 54 yrs old & started trying to lose weight(30lbs) Christmas Day @ 153 lbs. I have lost 4 lbs.so far. Any suggestions on how to lose faster.

    My advice would be don't try to lose faster.

    Make your weight loss phase as close to how you intend to maintain once you get to goal weight as you possibly can. Practice those skills now.

    Faster weight loss can come at a price of losing lean mass along with fat - it's a whole lot easier to avoid that than it is to rebuild it afterwards. You may also get less problems with loose skin from a slow steady weight loss as well - a bigger factor for people like us in their fifties.

    Im 54 too have about 30 lbs as well and have lost 6 I feel good about that just knowing how much u eat daily us a big help
