Idioms read literally . . . what have YOU done?

Works similar to "answer the question above, post a question for below" threads. Only difference is: use an idiom to form your question. The person below should answer whether they've ever done the LITERAL interpretation...NOT the commonly-known interpretation. Repeats are okay!

Examples:
Q: Have you ever cut corners?
A: Yes. Showing my kids how to make paper stop signs. We started with squares and cut the corners off to make nearly perfect octagons.

Q: Have you ever been caught between a rock and a hard place?
A: No. But I've been caught between a rock and a soft place - leaning against a large boulder with someone pressed tightly against me.

Q: Have you ever spanked a monkey?
A. No. I don't think I've ever even touched a monkey. Unless plush toys count...then maybe I've spanked one. I'll plead the fifth on plush toys.

Q: Have you ever choked a chicken?

No. Have you ever counted chickens before they hatched (in case one died mid-hatch, counting live ones)?

Yes, because as a younling, I pretended the kittens were superheroes, the bag was their secret cave headquarters, and they would come charging out to fight crime when the bag was opened. Instead they came out slowly one by one looking all confused like kittens do and doing alot of meowing
