Argh, hunger! For first time in months

I don't know what's going on. I've been on this since July and during periods of weight loss and maintaining I've never once felt hungry or felt like I was missing something. Doesn't matter what kind of workout I did. Today, I've been hungry since some time after lunch. Seriously hungry! My usual after-lunch office salad didn't do anything, neither the rather big dinner, or the big piece of cheese, some chocolate or a glass of full fat milk. I'm still hungry, and at the same time my stomach feels so full that I feel like I can't eat anymore. Anyone ever experienced something similar? I did do a workout today, and it went particularly well. This also stopped my hunger for a short time, but then it came back and remained all through dinner and all the after dinner snacks above.

Yep, actually every 2 weeks or so. Know what I do? I keep eating. I figure, its just my body telling me it needs more something.

If it continues, visit your primary care provider to rule out a peptic ulcer (what you are describing is a common symptom).

So, you are hungry but you are also full?

Try drinking more water, otherwise talk to your GP.

Well I'm hungry but my stomach is still full from dinner and all the other stuff, yes.
I guess I'm going to bed now and hope I fall asleep and will be better tomorrow.

I did do a new workout yesterday and today (and the first time after being sick for two weeks), so maybe I do need some extra food. I started big bag boxing

If your stomach is full of food then you aren't actually hungry. It's probably just a mood or a craving. Also, hunger is not an emergency. It's okay to feel hungry sometimes, particularly if you've already eaten. Your body will function just fine. Let the feeling pass.

Not really.. I have a BMI of 20.3 now, though I do have a wide frame. Well, I feel better today. Lets hope it stays that way.

That uh... doesn't really make sense. If your stomach is full that would entail eating enough to not leave you hungry. Your hunger is likely from lack of water or psychological (craving as suggested).

Yup, I get that. I feel ravenous, but also full - reminds me distinctly of breastfeeding hunger.

A little ice cream or a mug of full-calorie cocoa seems to do the trick. My target is ~125-200 calories per half cup, and liquid at room temperature. I need more simple sugars than plain whole milk provides to be effective. Hot or cold as you find most pleasant. I consume it at a comfortable to slow pace. I usually feel better within half an hour.

That feels kind of vague and woo-like, even after I edited it. I got a great explanation from my GI about why it would work, but the mechanics were over my head to try to pass on.

He did say that it's effectively a form of indigestion or dyspepsia - food isn't moving from your stomach to your small intestine at the rate your body expects. The liquid can slip through the pylorus easily and simple carbs pop your blood sugar up to solve the hunger. I add fat for a more lasting effect, but in some people, the fat slows transit and they need something like soda or juice.

I just had dinner and am full, but I feel like something else, like chocolate! It's not hunger, more a craving.

Lunch over for nearly two hours now and I'm feeling fine. No idea what was going on yesterday. Maybe it was a craving, but I simply didn't know what for.
