Fillipino BBQ in the crockpot?

Anyone? I just tasted some BBQ chicken from some takeout place that is way far from me and it was deeeelicious. But I really only cook in the crockpot anymore. Googling only got me actual BBQ recipes.

Yes its called adobo its not bbq tho but they do make good pork scewer bbq

The sauce was very sweet and thick, and I was told it had beer in it so of course I assumed it was BBQ lol
