Anyone tried the Cottage cheese diet?

I used it as a quick fix last year, lost a lot of weight to fit into the little black dress.
I guess it works coz its low carb, first couple of days are easy but then it gets really hard- you crave anything and everything!! On the diet i had cucumber, olives, low fat cottage cheese with green tea + loads of water (nothing else). It sounds gross I know! :P

    I haven't tried it...it may be a quick fix but once you add back more foods, it all comes back. Remember, slow and steady wins the race. The days are going to pass, regardless, so it's best to find something healthy and reasonable...something you can stick with.:flowerforyou:
  • Yes i did torture myself on the diet, had to follow it religiously! lol
    Will have to find a healthier approach+ be more patient on how I lose these 20lbs.. x

    Just stick to your calories...you want more to eat...work out more! You'll learn quick how precious each calorie is and you won't want to waste them on chips and pop anymore :laugh:

    I ALWAYS plan out all my calories for the day (except a snack after dinner if I'm planning on working out) and that gives me a lot more strenght to stick to it.

    where do the fruits and veggies come in to play? weight lost fast...comes back to haunt us!:noway:

    Just check out what MFP says is your calories allotment, excercise, drinks lots of water, keep it positive and you'll find you lose it to keep it off.........yes, losing it healthy will take longer but it will stay off so you can continue to wear your 'lil black dress'!:wink::happy:
