Always hungry

I started a new job with hours I'm not used to working. The issue I'm having now is I'm always hungry!!!! I try snacking, but I still feel hungry after about an hour or two. Even after my lunch/dinner break, I feel like I'm starving after an hour or two.

I can't eat gluten, so I don't know if that's part of feeling hungry because my carb options are limited, but it seems more related to my schedule change. And yes, I'm hungry, not just bored.

Any suggestions?

You aren't hitting your calorie goal, so that's why you're hungry. Eat things you like to hit that number. Calorie dense foods will help (nuts, nut butters, dairy, avocadoes)

What is the percentage of your Crabs, Fats and Protein?
  • According the the pie chart fat> protien> carbs

I find it hard to eat a lot of carbs because I can't eat gluten (bread, pasta, etc) due to a medical condition.

I've managed to start feeling more full, I think the major problem was my new schedule. I wasn't having a real lunch. So I've substituted more snacks throughout the day for the meal I'm missing. This has helped, but I don't think it's a permanent solution. I suppose I'll just have to wait it out until my schedule changes.

I find eating snacks doesn't substitute for eating a meal. I can eat the same calories in 6 small meals or 3 large meals and maybe one snack and feel more full from 3 larger meals. This may be your main problem. As far as balancing your macros there are many non -gluten carb options like buckwheat and rice.

Add fat to your meals. It satiates and keeps you feeling full longer esp when paired with a protein.
