I started in September of 2010 and lost the majority in the first 2 years and I have been fighting those last 20 pounds for a while. But I started slowly adding small changes at a time. 1st was witching from regular soda to diet. Then eating healthier... No (whites) white potatoes, rice, bread and pasta. 100% whole wheat everything. Only eat very lean meats mostly chicken, ground turkey or fish. Lots of fruits and veggies with every meal. Then tried to cut out sugar almost completely. Unless it was from fruit. And of course potion control. And I started working out regularly. My sw was 248. My cw is 168.0
