my shuffle is full of songs with a decent beat but is a real mix! Have dance stuff like Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, rocky stuff like Biffy Clyro, the up-tempo Foo Fighters then a bit of pop Lady Gaga. Most of all it's all songs I love cos it keeps me going :happy:0

For me, everything from System of a down, to Latin Jazz. My last playlist was Faint by Linkin Park, Toxicity, Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, Pardon Me by Incubus, Watch You Crawl by Red, How You Like Me Now by The Heavy, Mudshovel by Staind, Little Sister by Queens of the Stoneage, Insomnia by Faithless (night At The Roxbury version), Blurry by Puddle of Mudd and Smile While Are Sleeping by Silverstein. I need the fast stuff for the cardio.

In the morning, it is an old one.
Des'ree "you gotta be" sort of just moves out into the day at the beginning of a run when the body does not want to go.
Robert Earl Keen's-"Road Goes On Forever"
Van Halen's "Right Here, Right Now"
Tom Petty-"Running down a dream"
Eddie Vedder-"Hard Sun"
For me, I run 12 miles+ sometimes. So, I want something that takes my brain somewhere else. I listened to a Lyle Lovett song, LA County, three or four times during a 1/2 marathon because I finally listened to the lyrics and caught what they were about.0 -

Most of these I selected based on lists I found at www.jog.fm. You go to the website, enter either your mile time or the beats per minute you want and it provides you with a list of songs to match your workout. Lately I've been phasing out anything below 125 beats per minute and adding to the top edge so the list is constantly changing and challenging.0 -
I like all kinds of music and switch it up once and a while, but i love all kinds of hip hop for my work outs...the beats just make me want to keep moving. Black Eyed Peas are one of my favorites to work out to.0
-
Francesca Battistelli & SwitchFoot0
-
The Black Eyed Peas "The E.N.D." it's always playing for me while I workout.0
-
I like Christian rock, too. Do you listen to Skillet?0

The best kind of music to listen to when your doing cardio workouts is trance, house, electro, techno, or anything with a fast beat, it helps ALOT!
if your listening to a slow song and your trying to run on a treadmill I find it makes you really sluggish and not wanna do it
When you listen to something upbeat and fast, you go to the beat of the song and it makes it fun:)
Another good idea is finding remixes of slower songs that you like, thats fun toooo:D!!
Hope this helped! good luck with finding music0 -
Hardbass Electronica and some metal for cardio mostly.
- Masters of Hardcore
- Noisecontrollers
- Headhunterz
- Five Finger Death Punch
- Lamb of God
- Dethklok
I like to listen to something with a lower bpm for strength training. Hip-hop, Dubstep, slower rock (such as some Alternative songs).0
