Trying to add more friends but....

I'm trying to add more friends on here but I'm not really sure how to send a request on the app. Can anyone help? I use the app on my iPhone, thanks.

    You'll have to add them manually by clicking on Friends and then the + in the corner. Click Email and type in the username there

    It says email or username so I tried adding you. Let's see if this works lol.
