Prelogging is a really good way to organise yourself, especially if you have control issues about sticking to your target. It can also save time if done in advance.

Doesnt take me long so I log at the end of the day and thats just me. I can change my mind about what I eat according to what I fancy or what ive gotten from the shops that day. Whatever suits you.

I always log a day in advance, so tonight I'll log tomorrows meals and snacks. I feel it gives me way more control and I feel good about sticking to what I note down! :)

I often pre-log a day at a time. I like knowing ahead of time when I'll have cals left over for treats after logging my meals, and lets me know when I absolutely can't snack as well which is important for me as I'm a grazer. It just makes me feel comfortably in control, but I also don't mind changing it up a bit as the day goes on if my fancy really changes. Like today, I was going to have chicken nuggets, but I fancied egg and waffles instead, so I changed it to make sure I had enough calories first and then went with that.

I prelog before I eat. This way I know ahead of time if I can do two servings or spring for that cheesecake. :-)

I try and pre-log so I can tweak my food to make sure I'm hitting my macros, though I do have to go back and adjust for actual weight on fruit and veggies. Protein is always a tough one for me, so I try and make sure ahead of time I can hit it. Sometimes I stray off course (especially by dinner time when I'm just feeling to worn out to make what I had intended). So pre-logging usually only gets me through lunch time, and then flies out the window after that about 75% of the time.

I log as I am putting my food together, it takes to much editing for me otherwise. For example I usually have a protein shake in the morning some days I have to add additional fruit to it because my morning glucose reading is to low. For other meals things are so crazy around here that I may plan something for dinner and it ends up changing because of which family members are here for dinner. I don't think it matters which way we do it as long as it gets done.

    I don't

I don't know what I want to eat until the moment I cook ...I will log it before putting it in my mouth though

For a night out I will prolog alcohol so I know my wine limit ..that's it

Yep! I pre-log every day. It makes it soooo much easier to keep on track for me. And also, it allows me to keep like 150-200 cals aside every night for dessert! :p
