Hi
I am a 54 year old woman looking to drop 10 lbs before my next birthday which is just about 60 days away. Does anyone have some meal/exercise programs they would be willing to share? I walk 3-4 miles each day but other than that I don't really have a workout routine. Thanks

You can eat whatever you like, just make sure you're in a deficit.

Thanks but my problem is without a set meal plan I tend to go over my calories.

You're not going to eat a set meal plan for the rest of your life, so at some point you need to learn how to eat a balanced diet with the right number of calories. MFPs your best chance!

Thanks for your replies what you are saying mAkes perfect sense! I had lost over 40lbs a few years ago and kept it off until the past few months when I absolutely fell off track and fell right back into my bad eating habits. I've gained back about 13 lbs and need to get back on track before it's too late so I'm hoping some meal plan ideas will kick start me.

Eat what you always do, only less. Sit down each morning and pre-log your day (eat the food you like).

Thanks pre-logging sounds like a great idea, I will definitely try it.

Up your exercise. Instead of walking, jog for a bit, and work your way up to jogging/running the whole 3-4 miles. Then work on getting faster, and going for longer. Or, while you are walking, incorporate some lunges, jumping jacks, etc...to mix up your routine and to get your heart rate evaluated
