Good for you - that is amazing! I am training for a half as well, but the most I have run so far is 6 miles. Very inspired with your 10 miler! Keep up the good work!0

Well done, Mac!!!!
I've been a runner for years and have a few 10Ks, couple of halves and a full Marathon under my belt. Unfortunately I've suffered injuries that put me out for months & led to weight gain, decreased fitness and stress. But, I'm building up my fitness again and am back up to 3 runs a week (usually one 3 mile, one 4 or 5 mile and one 6 mile). Need to work on increasing my distance & speed but I am pleased that since Xmas I have re-introduced hills (Hills = strength training in disguise!). I'm doing my 3rd half-Marathon in late June and hoping for a PB (1st = 2hrs 18 mins, 2nd = 2hrs 15 mins) and if the weight loss & training goes well, I'm aiming for sub-2hrs. I'm 14lbs down since Jan 1st with at least a further 28lbs to drop.
When is your 1st half? Good Luck!0 -
That's wonderful! Congrats!0

Awesome job!! I've been in those shoes, and love to keep making progress with my fitness. Whether it's a new distance or another PR, keep up the great work.0
