hi everyone, looking for some mfp friends to help support and motivate one another.
I've lost nearly 2stone with slimming world but seems to not be going as well since joining the gym, which i absolutely love and never thought I would! I still need to lose at least another 2stone, I feel like I'm just winging it at the moment, do you work out in fat burning zone heart rate or just go hard as you can? Do you eat back your lost work out calories? What percentage of carbs/fat/protein should I be doing? All the diets, plans and Google info ect completely go against one another! Haha Any help appreciated!

Start simple - calories in, calories out. Accurately log your food, weigh it if you can. Eating back your exercise calories is fine but be wary of mfp estimates, they're always high. I reccomend spending some time on the forums just browsing. There are a lot of helpful and knowledgable people on here. Follow the basics first and work up to the more intense stuff. All that's required is a caloric deficit. Exercise is for health and to help that deficit.

Thank you for your replies, I'm going to find myself an hour or so over the weekend to sit and have a browse and look into what you have said more, it's just a mine field and you find so many opinions! Haha0
