Waiting for Monday

I have heard this one so many times, I am starting to wonder WHY? A couple of my friends always have plans to work out, start logging foods, etc. But they keep saying "I'm going to start MONDAY." Sometimes they do, other times not. What's so special about Monday? If you want to start something like P90X or Insanity, or logging your calories, why not Today or Tomorrow? Why does it have to be Monday? If you want to start the first day of the week, most calendars are printed with Sunday as the first day.

Why are they waiting for Monday? What's so magical about Monday? Don't most people hate Mondays?

Your life is going on TODAY, it's not waiting till Monday.

Have you ever heard the poem that begins "Monday's child is full of grace"? That I believe is because they spent Sunday in church. Unfortunately, the people who put off until Monday what should be done today, are not the one's spending the day before in church. They are the one's that are spending the weekend doing things that are not healthy. By Monday they are tired out. I say why wait?
