    Struggles/successes this week: I actually went to the gym for the first time in forever... I'm always feeling judged at the gym, so now I've been trying to overcome that. And I didn't binge at all (but I did overeat a bit on my birthday!)

    Struggles/successes this week: This morning's weigh in was a bummer since I was down to 142.2 earlier in the week. Maybe it's a fluke? I went to the gym 5 times this week (burning 2,184 calories over the 7 days) and took an intense step class, plus I was really mindful about my eating and calorie intake (2,496 calories under my weekly goal). I honestly could not have done much more than I did this week to lose weight. Hopefully the scale will tell a different story tomorrow, and at the next weigh-in! For now I will continue to keep on the straight and narrow -- I have definitely noticed my waistline being more trim and my legs feeling stronger in the past week.

    P.S. I would love to add more friends to help feel motivated, especially other women who are my similar height (5'4") and weight (144 with a goal of 126) -- feel free to send me a friend request! :)

    Struggles/successes this week: I think I had a water shift. I've been under my calories this week. It's so hard staying away from cheeseburgers and fries. Need to work harder on my exercise.

    Struggles/successes this week:Struggle with eating enough throughout the day. Sucess this week was going to a fork and screen at AMC and only eating 2 of my boyfriends buffalo wings. I wasnt hungry because we had a ton of sushi for lunch. Sometimes its hard for me to say no to food in those situations.

    I'm in! I just completed the January challenge, losing more than my goal of 8-10lbs for the month. I finished with a 12.8lb loss, and I feel that the challenge motivated me more than anything. Checking in each week was fun, and seeing everyone posting their stats kept me going. Looking forward to a new challenge each month. Good luck to all :smile:

    Sheila - congrts on 12 lbs in 1 mth. I'm jealous. Good job on the water - I struggle w/that also. I plateaued for so long I'm happy if I make the 1 lb a week

    This hasn't been a great week. Dinner Friday night with wine and dessert spiked my weight but I have been off my game all week. Need to step it up this week!

    Struggles: sugar and I also started exercising again (Zumba and bootcamp) and my muscles have been aching pretty badly so I am hoping they are the cause of weight gain. But I also need to really restrain my appetite and stop binge eating... :( For this upcoming week I am really going to try keeping my calories down...

    Struggles/successes this week: I have been working hard to stay under my calorie goals for most of this week, and I am realizing how much I was eating before I started keeping track. I find it frustrating how variable my weight can be (3 pound range throughout the course of a day). I had been down to 164.5 the day before the official weigh-in, but one bad evening of eating put me back up to 165. My goals for this week are to significantly increase my water intake and to try to fit in some sort of brief exercise almost every day.
