Canned soups - weigh or measure? Opinions please

Is it more accurate to weigh soup or measure it? I'm specifically referencing Progresso soups here. The can shows a cup as a serving and "about two" servings per can, but also gives the serving size in grams, usually around 240, which, when I weigh it on the scale, gives the can approximately 1.25 servings.
I know the guidelines of weighing solids and measuring liquids but would like opinions as to what is best here, when most of the soups have meat, veggies, noodles in them too?
I know overall they're not a huge calorie suck, but if I'm blowing my daily goal, I'd prefer it be with chocolate
Thanks for your input.

It's always better to go by weight, if the serving weight is given.0

I weigh soup whenever possible (in other words, whenever I am home with my scale), and try to make sure I'm getting a pretty average ratio of stuff-to-broth. And if "half" goes over the weight the can gives by a bit, I just log it as such. Many entries have it broken down into calories per gram already, and if you can't find one, it's not too hard to figure it out yourself.0

I prefer to weigh as soup consists of both liquids and solids.0

Good points, thanks all. I will keep weighing it and ignore the idea that there are almost two servings in these cans when it's really just over one.0

Depends on what the label says. If it gives grams, then weigh. If it's in ml (which Campbell's does), get the measuring cup out.0
