Eggs, Ground Turkey with Veggies, Fish and Veggies, Chicken and Veggies, Steak and Veggies. Stop drinking calories (milk, fruit juice, sweet tea...anything with sugar). Taper back serving portions...like drop to 1/3 cup of oatmeal instead of 1/2 cup...drop to 1/3 cup of rice instead of 1/2 cup...etc.

Agree with poster above. You can go cold turkey or gradually cut out breads and sugar people are surprised at how much of a drastic change those two things can have and it's not easy to do at first. Then you can work on taking out simple carbs. I dropped all 3 Cold turkey worked best for me.

The Cauliflower rice is super easy and yummo

Spiralized zucchini or squash in place if pasta... Yummy vegetable lasagna with chicken Italian sausage and eggplant/ zucchini in place of noodles. Pinterest, low carb among friends, skinnytaste and sparkpeople have some great recipes and ideas too. Many are a little too high in fat for me, but are easily modified.

Good luck and have fun trying new things!
