I don't know how to log exercise!

Ok, although I've been here for months, I'm just now discovering all the options and tools. I've heard that you can use this site to calculate calories burned for various types of exercise, but I have no clue how to do it!!! Help!

    easy peasy!

    The database is loaded with exercises and those you can't find you can build into the database yourself.

    It's just like logging food, choose your exercise and search for one that's comparable.

    Another alternative is to use a fitness tracker or a fitness app that interfaces with MFP. MapMyFitness or MapMyWalk is great for outdoor activities and they work via recording your activity using the GPS in your smartphone.
