Planning for a night out

Hello!
I have a friends birthday coming up this weekend and she wants to go out clubbing. I want to go but I don't want to ruin my weightloss! I've looked into low calorie alcoholic drinks and thought about not eating too many calories before, however I don't want to go out on an empty stomach either. Any help on how I can have a couple of decent meals but also be able to drink alcohol?
Thanks!

Get up early, And have a good cardio workout. 30 minutes on the Eliptical at a higher level will drop about 450-500 calories. Add this to your "Normal" workout. That's what I do when I plan on going out for a night, or having a big dinner. I make sure I burn the calories I am going to take in that are extra.0

I would say get a workout done in the morning. Eat some low sugar oatmeal before you go out because it is filling and substantial if you are drinking. As for drinks, drink clear liquids. Stay away from heavy mixed drinks (long island iced tea, cosmopolitan, etc) the are high in sugar and full of calories. Your best bet is vodka tonics. They are about as low in calorie as you can get with liqour. If you are a beer drinker than get the ultra light beer. Bud select 55 is a good option. I also would advise you to stay away from shots. Again the have empty calories. Also juice mixers are all sugar. You could always drink water in-between drinks. You will be full and without a hangover. Good luck. I hope this helped. Cheers mate!0
