Transitioning from vegetarianism to veganism?

I've been vegetarian for a year and just recently, I've found that dairy has been upsetting my stomach (maybe some sort of lactose intolerance? Will have to get it checked out) and I feel a lot better when I'm not eating any dairy. A little sad I won't be having cheese anymore but this gives me the push to get into the vegan diet that I never had the will power to do.
So I guess my question is... is there anything I should know about transitioning from vegetarianism to veganism? Any tips to stay on track? Quick/easy recipes? I work full time and I'm usually really hungry when I get home so I never want to spend hours cooking something for dinner.
I'd love to hear any of your stories as a vegetarian/vegan as well! Feel free to add me here.

Check out the groups Happy Herbivores and Team Vegan on here.
I transitioned to a vegan diet from a SAD diet over two years ago, so I have no real advice to offer about the veg/vegan transition.
But I can say, that if you are eating at a deficit your protein macro could be harder to hit. Right now I can't do it without supplementing.
There are tons of vegan blogs out there

Just to name a few.0 -

Thank you! I haven't been looking at groups really so I'm not sure how to find those groups since there's no search bar. Can you link me?0 -

Cook on the weekends so that you can heat things up during the week. Buy a crock pot if you do not have one already. Both of those things will help with time management.0 -
I love this site because it helps me remember the reasons I'm doing this. http://nutritionfacts.org-1
