Thinking about getting a fitbit to track the calories I'm burning. Anyone suggest the best fitbit? Noticed it doesn't have a HR monitor. Does that matter?

The Charge HR has heart rate so does the Surge. If you are looking for estimation of calories burned both will do a pretty good job at calculating.. The surge is a bit costly but has a ton of features. I just purchased the HR yesterday and will see how it works for the next couple of weeks.0

FitBit Charge HR has a heart rate monitor. And the surge. But it is only really accurate for activities like walking. Intervals or extremely high heart rates don't work too well.0

I have had a One for a bit over two years. I love it because I can wear it clipped to my bra. It doesn't have a HRM built in, of course, but I also already have a Garmin GPS HRM that I use for running.
I've been eying the Surge, though. I'm just not sure I want to be tied down to wearing it every day instead of a regular watch.0
