Hi All

I have recently taken in a Personal Trainer, and i have had two sessions so far: I was wondering how would i log this in to get approx calories burnt.

So far we have done a variety of of circuits and cardio, along with plenty of weights and Boxing!!!

The two sessions were very challenging and as unpleasent as it may sound, I sweated bucket loads. My body has definately been in its 'relax' zone until i met the PT.

But now I dont know how to record what I have been doing so i know what calories I have burnt.....

You should really get an HRM with a chest strap and it will keep track of all your cals lost during the session.

    I have the Polar FT60

I agree - worth the investment! I found a great resource for one that doesn't charge shipping.

I just wear my HRM since the activities change so much per workout. that being said, I tend to average between 350-400 calories per hour with her...

Get a heart rate monitor if you can afford one. Much more accurate than any of the estimates you can get off of here or other online calorie calculators. I just ordered one and can't wait to try it out.

Thanks for input: Now i will ask another question: whats a HRM??? What does it stand for.

Sounds like a good device to have when training if it tracks calories: will look into it.....

    Thanks

I use my HRM = Hear Rate Monitor with chest strap...

If I forget to bring it I calculate 10 calories per minute.. because that is my average per minute burn. You could figure out your average and use that
