In June of 2013 I topped the scales at 416 pounds and I couldn't even walk around the block. I would sit down on the couch to have a conversation with my wife and immediately fall asleep. It was truly sad. Today, I weighed in at 275 pounds, I job at least 3 days a week for several miles and weight lift every day. I coudln't be happier with my success and I'm sharing my story to tell anyone out there struggling to keep with it. You can achieve your goal, if I can, anybody can. Just don't give up and find a good support system, you have to have encouragement. Add me, I'll encourage the crap out of you! Good luck!

You've done so great…share your methods with others here.

did your wife assist with meal cooking, support your goals?

Were you 'lazy' before you added weight? I mention this because we are trained to think all fat people are lazy, and you know if you had the will to push away from the table, get thru school, find and marry a good woman, help run a household, be a father, cut the grass, be a good citizen then you were not lazy. You had a severe nutrition problem, probably caused by too much of modern processed foods.

now you have the physical energy to do many more things than while overweight, are you still seen as 'lazy' to your friends, or new people who meet you? NO, because they don't assume average weight people are lazy..it's a judgment call, don't buy it.
