I have posted this article and lecture a few weeks ago........great minds.
I hope this one doesn't get locked out because people are going to get disrespectful.0 -
Too bad that doesn't mean I can go crazy eating all the fatty cheeses I want. :flowerforyou:
People just have to be diligent with reading labels. There are some lower fat dairy products that are both low saturated fat AND low in artificial sweeteners and refined sugars. We just need to be careful and choose the best one from what's available after reading all the labels.
I have personally found that it is the "fat free" products that are chock full of sugar and sodium as well as artificial sweeteners. You can get some "2% milk" dairy products like low fat cheese or even cottage cheese that are lower in sat fats than the whole milk kinds and lower in sugars than the fat free kinds.
I wonder, honestly...what would "fat free" cheese even taste like if they didn't add sugar and sodium? :bigsmile:0 -

That happens way too much around here. One of the reasons why I haven't been on the boards lately!0 -

I think the point of the article is you can have your high fat cheeses, eat full fat milk and dairy, slather on the butter and eat the coconut oil! It doesn't hurt you! It may actually help you! We should be enjoying the foods that nature gives us to eat. I think we sell our plate short by not eating the foods that are the tastiest and most satiating!0 -
this is such good news.......thanks for posting!:flowerforyou:0

Just so its not missed, Dr. Weil did point out in his article to enjoy these foods in moderation!0 -
