Glad to see that I've reached the next benchmark in my weight loss journey.
This time around I'm really leveraging technology to help me stay on track. Not only have I been I've diligent with my daily tracking on MFP, I have and once again starting using my Fitbit tracker that I bought last year. The Fitbit has been real helpful in measuring my daily activity, and has made me concious to be less sedentary. Work makes it hard to for me to be active, but I'm making more of an effort away from work. Averaging about 8,000 steps per day, my base rate calorie burn is around 3500 calories per day - given I'm eating about 2000 calories per day, I'm creating a 10,500 net calorie deficit per week, which should be good for about 3 lbs per week, without much sacrifice.
I can attest that what they say about taking 21 days to break or establish a new habit has proven true. Once past the 3 week mark, keeping to the script has become less challenging. However I'm still feeling hungry at night, and its taking an effort to not snack late. When I lost 134 lbs in 2010/11 I dealt with the late night snacking temptation by going to the gym late in the evening, which effectively killed my appetite. I'm still nursing a bad knee from a fall back in November, so this time around, I'm just relying on will power to keep the fridge closed after 8 pm. So far, so good. I am looking at introducing an every other day stint on the exercise bike in an effort to rehab my knee.
Mentally, I remain very motivated - I want to get back to where I was, and am still disappointed that I allowed myself to regain all the weight I had lost. However, I have to forgive myself, and just get back on track. Blaming me, or anyone else for that matter, doesn't get me back to where I have to be. I just need to deal with the objective at hand, and move on.

Well done sweetie. Just make sure that you keep using MFP in maintenance this time around - when it's time for that. RE late night snacking... Will power will turn into habit and then the hunger will fade away. It really is a mental urge, promise! Xx
