So I have been counting calories for 25 days and have changed my lifestyle for 30. Feeling a little discouraged other then the initial 12 pound I lost in the first 10 days I haven't lost anything scale wise . I haven't been over really on my macros and I have changed the way I eat 100% and work out 4 times a week . My clothes do feel different it's just discouraging when I step on the scale . Anyone else feel this way ? Maybe we can encourage each other feel free to add me !

^^ This....Wow what a phenomenal start.....Weight loss isn't linear and losing weight at that rate even if you have a lot to lose is unlikely to continue. Mostly the highest weekly loss MFP suggests is 2 lbs per week so you are well in front of the eight ball.
Put your stats into MFP if you already haven't, eat well, weigh everything, keep up with your fitness goals. Take lots of progress photos and measurements.....these will help you know that you are on the right track even if the scale is being a B!tch to you..... before you know it you will be posting in the Success stories.
Have a good look around MFP, read as much as you can and get perhaps get a group of like minded supportive friends on here who have had success losing, maintaining, similar fitness goals etc. Be patient.....patience and consistency will help you when motivation wanes and the scales don't move.
Welcome and all the best.

Stay motivated because you are already ahead of many. I need to lose 8 pounds in order to feel like I'm on a journey. I motivate you, you motivate me.0

You got a huge initial loss. Your body is still playing catch up! It'll get there!
Awesome job on the 12lb!0 -
No. I would not feel discouraged if I lost 12 pounds in 10 days and then did not lose anything for a month.0

Congrats on your weight loss that is fantastic well done you. I would suggest getting a measuring tape and taking a note of your measurements. Sometimes when there is no drop on the scale you will see it in your measurements which can help keep you motivated. When I started this the scale didn't budge for a couple of months, it was only the change in my clothes and the measurements that kept me going, I just hoped that the scale would show it eventually thankfully it did.
Good luck and congrats again0 -
12 lbs is a lot of weight!! Great job. I went through the same thing you are going through. I lost a bunch of weight and then for weeks the scale wouldn't move. Then one day woosh I dropped all this weight in what seemed like over night! It was on that day that I decided me and the scale weren't friends. I literally would be depressed on days it didn't move! I now weigh once a month. It helps a lot! Hide that scale girly!!0

Thank you all , I have now taken my scale and put it a way . I have taken my measurements and am trying a new outlook on this journey . I know we all have days where we feel this way and I'm greatful for the MFP Community for helping me get through mine . I wish you all the best on your journey !!
Stay strong !!0 -
Keep working it you are off to a good start. The weight loss slows down after the initial few weeks, that how it has been for me.0

Fight the temptation to weigh yourself everyday and only do it once a week instead. Also weigh yourself in the morning before eating/drinking anything because a glass of water/milk can easily add 4lbs to your weight0
