    Vocal cord dysfunction it's when your throat closes

    Actually prob didn't explain that correct when a normal persons breathing there vocal cords open but when I breath out and I'm suffering with vcd they close

    That must be so distressing for you. I have a sister who has an oesophagal problem. her throat closes sometimes and her food causes her to "choke". I hope the medical profession have something to offer you? My sister takes omeprazole which seems to help her and so far prevent surgery.
    That must make it difficult for you to exercise?
    My knees are my problem, and mean that walking is my best activity.
    I hope things improve for you.

    Yes your sisters prob is reflux by sounds I might have to have the oesphphagus tightened up I can imagine your knees are real prob have you tried aquatone

    No, what is that? I take glucosamine, and am ok on the flat. They need to be replaced, but I am holding off as long as poss.

    Reflux is acid coming up from stomach causing me to cough it's linked with vcd I'm on omeprazole too

    I don't, but I have similar symptoms (vcd was suspected at first) so I sympathize. Mine is actually muscle weakness, but it feels like someone is choking me or like my throat is closing up. Are you having trouble eating? Or what exactly are you wanting to hear about?

    Just what exercises do u do as running or anything strenuous makes my throat close
